almost

as it turns out, things did not go the way i had written in my last post.  i assume too often. so this is the situation:  my friend is leaving.  i will not be taking her position.  i will just be back-up for the person who the club is hiring which is why they had me train with my friend. (they are just now thinking about cross-training different people in some of the front desk tasks O_o).  however, the position that they are hiring for is part-time, 1 pm to 6:30 pm.  which means i will probably be the one who will work the front desk from whenever i get to work (early afternoon) until 1 pm and then maybe stay on with the new person.  i was actually pretty relieved when one of my supervisors told me the position isn't going to me.  she said she didn't think it would be a good fit for me and she's right.  i'm not the right personality for the front desk.  i'm more of a behind-the-scenes, in the back office kind of person.  so i am sticking to my regular schedule.  phew!

in addition to my regular schedule, i plan on volunteering with the little kids, again.  i miss working with them and i've felt this way since my supervisor changed the activity schedule and made me work only in the office.
